Senior Leadership


Our Leadership Team includes accomplished professionals in education, finance, management and health care administration. Their role is to uphold the vision, purpose and values of Westminster at Lake Ridge, set the community’s direction and priorities and ensure the integrity of services for the benefit of community members.

Paul Gregg
Executive Director

Paul has a strong and diverse background in senior living, having served for more than 27 years in various senior living positions. Prior to joining Westminster at Lake Ridge, Paul spent 18 years at Glenaire Retirement Community in Cary, North Carolina where he served as Executive Director from 2010 until 2020.  Paul began his career in senior living as a manager in dining services and progressed to various operation positions in multiple companies to include Assistant Administrator and Vice President of Operations. In 2002 Paul became the Associate Director at Glenaire and was promoted to the Executive Director in 2010.  

Paul received his bachelor’s degree in English from St. Andrews Presbyterian College and was awarded his master’s degree in Aging Studies and Non-Profit Management from North Carolina State University.  Paul and his wife Kelly love cooking, gardening, kayaking and hiking. They have two children: 24-year old Catherine, and 22-year old Aaron.

 

 

Elaine Koubek

DAN ARNOLD, CASP
Director of IT

Dan is the Director of Information Technology and is responsible for all the computer and servers for the staff at Westminster at Lake Ridge, as well as any technical decisions that need to be made. Dan likes the environment at Westminster, staff and residents make Westminster a pleasurable place to work. When Dan is not working, you can find him playing sports, a few of his favorites include golf, softball and tennis.

BELVA DICKEY
Chaplain

Belva joined Westminster at Lake Ridge after serving as the Director of Chaplaincy at a regional hospital for almost ten years. She is an ordained minister and a board certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She serves on board certification committees and mentors chaplains. Belva earned a Master's of Divinity degree with honors from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Following graduation, she successfully completed nine units of Clinical Pastoral Education at the University of Virginia Health System. She served three years in Moscow, Russia and five months in Gorlitz, Germany as a missionary associate. She enjoys singing and playing the trumpet in various churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons throughout the United States and overseas. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, Belva is married and has three grown step-children and one grandson. She enjoys biking, hiking, kayaking, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

 

Mehdi Hamzi

MEHDI HAMZI
Director of Dining Services

Mehdi Has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, from the time he graduated with a master's degree in hospitality management from the Moroccan Institute Of Technology. His multifaceted leadership experience encompasses a diverse management career including marketing, business development, operations and dining services, both nationally and internationally in institutions such as the international monetary fund, luxury hotels, consultancy firms and most rewardingly retirement communities such as Westminster at Lake Ridge. Mehdi brings his global perspective to the dining experience at Westminster at Lake Ridge.

MICHELLE FERRY
Director of Sales

Michelle graduated from Binghamton University in Upstate New York where she studied Political Science. She then went on to obtain her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville. Prior to joining the team, she owned her own construction business where she applied her legal and administrative skills supporting all departments. She is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources and has worked in that capacity for several years. As a Sales Counselor, Michelle's job is to guide new residents through the process of joining the community. In her free time, you can find Michelle enjoying herself with family and friends. Michelle's favorite thing about working at Westminster is the staff's involvement with residents, working together to provide the best possible experience for everyone who enters Westminster's doors.

MICHELLE THURSTON
Executive Assistant

Michelle has been in the Reston area for 17 years, moving here from the great state of Arkansas. Her extensive background in health care, education and administration assists in her current duties as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, and she is excited to be a part of the Westminster at Lake Ridge family! Working here at Westminster at Lake Ridge feels like coming home ق€“ everyone is helpful, patient, smiling and very welcoming.

DAVID LANE
Director of Property Management

Dave has worked in the DMV area for the past 25 years, including Government and private sector employers. His most recent employer prior to joining Ingleside, Westminster at Lake Ridge was BOEING in which he supported many diverse contracts over the past 15 years.

In his 25 years of experience, Dave has enjoyed the opportunity to meet great people, learn from their experiences and meld them into his own experiences. Dave has had the opportunity to engage with many mentors over the years in many advanced areas of business and facilities management.

Dave enjoys family time, helping people, fishing, and hanging out with friends.

With the support and direction from the residents and staff at Westminster at Lake Ridge, he hopes to help make a difference within the community. 

 

 

Kera

KERA WOOTEN
Independent Living Administrator

Kera Wooten has over 20 years of serving seniors. Kera grew her career working for Erickson Retirement Communities at both of its Virginia properties.  At the end of her tenure at Erickson, she was managing  four dining venues and over 150 employees with direct oversight of a $12 million budget.  Prior to that, she was employed by Marriott International-Senior Living Services in Delaware and Virginia.  Kera joins us from Sunrise Senior Living in Fort Belvoir, Virginia where she was the Associate Executive Director.  She managed the Independent Living operational departments and various community committees.  Kera received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Delaware State University. She is a graduate of Erickson Culinary College and holds a National Food Managers Certification.   She has also received Train the Trainer, Foundations of Leadership, Tactical Leadership and Alzheimer’s Certifications. Kera served as the Chair of Family and Consumer Services for Fairfax County Public Schools and as a Board Member for the Ronald McDonald House of Northern Virginia.  Kera enjoys Muay Thai, reading, hiking and spending time with her daughter Regan.

IBRAHIM KAMARA
Community Director of Healthcare Services

Ibrahim Kamara has 30 yearsق€™ experience in healthcare. Ibrahim holds a masterق€™s degree in Public Health Administration and Global Health from George Mason University, Virginia. He started as a bedside care giver, and worked his way up the nursing ladder starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant, to a Licensed Practical Nurse, ultimately becoming a Registered Nurse. His experience in a hospital setting, included Vencor Hospital and INOVA Fairfax hospital. In the long-term care, he held the position of Director of Nursing before becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2010 with Manor Care. He most recently came from Vinson Hall Retirement Community as the administrator for the Arleigh Burke Pavilion skilled nursing facility. Ibrahim currently resides in Stafford with family. He is married with three children, a girl and two boys.

 

 

David Binkley

Juanita Jones, MHRM   
Director of Human Resources

Juanita Jones a fellow Washingtonian, has more than 30 years of Managerial Experience. Ms. Jones holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources, from DeVry University, Naperville, Illinois as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia State University, Petersburg, Virginia. Ms. Jones career begin as a Retail Manager for a variety of retailers over the years. Juanita transitioned to the Healthcare Industry in 2012. Juanita has a passion for Employee Engagement. Before joining Ingleside, her previous role was Senior Human Manager, Human Resource Manager for Skilled Nursing Facilities in the DMV Metropolitan Area.  Juanita’s objective in life is to live every day to her fullest potential, inspire others to live up to their own potential, while being a great motivator, mentor and facilitator. In her spare time Juanita, enjoys shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
