Weaver Receives ‘Active in Aging Award’
Lake Ridge, VA -- Tom Weaver, director of dining services at Westminster at Lake Ridge, was honored with an “Active in Aging Award” from the Prince William Area Agency on Aging for his exemplary service in support of the agency’s 2012 Caregiver Conference. The award will be presented at noon on Nov. 28 at the Woodbridge Senior Center, 13850 Church Hill Dr. in Woodbridge.

102-Year-Old Hopes for Q-Letter Day at Northern Virginia Senior Olympics
September 6, 2012--Occoquan, VA-- At 102, Doris Woodring reckons she’s the oldest participant in this month’s 2012 Northern Virginia Senior Olympics (NVSO). The resident at Westminster at Lake Ridge in Occoquan, VA. will compete for her first time in scrabble on Sept. 24 at the Lincolnia Senior Citizen’s Center.
